The Research Project

The Research Project works with Palestinian refugees to improve their socio-economic conditions in Lebanon. This project aims to understand the social participation of different marginalized groups in the Al Buss and Al Baddawi camps. In addition, Drops aims through this pilot project to enhance its capacity in developing a more sustainable strategic response for the challenges they face. Through the assessment, Drops and its partners will understand how to support youth and women to be empowered and ready to engage in the decision-making processes on different levels such as economic and social life in their communities. And to do so, on ground qualitative Labor market situation assessment will be implemented to assess the market in the AL Baddawi camp. This data will be regularly updated to ensure that the public and stakeholders have access to accurate information. This project is in partnership with the 'PART' program - GIZ on behalf of the German federal ministry of economic cooperation and development BMZ.
