The Junior's Professional Program Project

The Junior's Professional Program aims to support the social and professional development of young Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian refugees at the age of 14 to 22 years old. We give them the opportunity to learn professions that suits the needs of the local market and support them at the psychological and social level through a one-year program. The training period is divided into two stages, academic teaching followed by practical training. At the end of the training period, our juniors receive a certificate recognized by the ministry of education in addition to a certificate issued by DROPS that certifies the completion of the practical training. Besides the professional training, we provide psychological support, life skills and social counselling sessions with mentors selected and trained by DROPS. Every year, an approximate number of 60-65 young men and women end the training program and become ready to start their future professional life and face the challenges.
